REQUIRED TOOLS

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The only tools you will require to complete this job are a power drill with a hex driver bit (available from our store), 1/8 in (3 mm) drill bit, pop rivet gun and wire cutters.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51739″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 1

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Plan your job carefully. Measure and markout your mounting points.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51738″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 2

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Fix Anchor Platforms at beginning and end of the wire run.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51740″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 3

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Pre-drill holes for eye screws at intermediate fixing points with .12in (3 mm) bit.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row oblique_section=”no” oblique_section_top_and_bottom=”both” oblique_section_position=”from_left_to_right” triangle_shape=”no” triangle_shape_position=”both”][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51762″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 4

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Screw eye screws in place being sure that they are in as far as they can go.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51736″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 5

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Starting at the bottom anchor platform and begin feeding wire, going back and forth along each run, before inserting guide plugs or anchors.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51746″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 6

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The wire should now be treaded through each end and still sitting loose through the eye screws.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51737″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 7

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]At end point, carefully insert wire through Espalar anchor and push anchor into the platform. Repeat this at the other end, leaving the wire loose until after Step 8. Note caution above.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row oblique_section=”no” oblique_section_top_and_bottom=”both” oblique_section_position=”from_left_to_right” triangle_shape=”no” triangle_shape_position=”both”][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51748″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 8

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Before you tension the wire, slip guide plugs onto wire and insert into eye screws. Ensure the direction of the wire follows the groove on the top of the guide plug.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51730″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 9

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]With the guide plugs now in place, tension the wire at the anchor ends using a pop rivet gun. The wire should be just tight enough to remove any sag.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51742″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 10

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Using your wire cutters, trim wire flush with the Espalar anchor and fit the end cap.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ offset=”vc_col-md-3 vc_col-xs-12″][vc_single_image image=”51750″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”16″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]

STEP 11

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]At the other end excess wire is needed for future tensioning if needed. Fit tension cap with the wire protruding then trim flush with end of cap.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”1″ up=”30″ down=”0″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”grid” text_align=”center” background_color=”#f5f5f5″ padding_top=”80″ padding_bottom=”80″][vc_column][vc_column_text]
